National Road Racing Champions: Jackson-Dawson!

In a Scion world first, this month Driver Dan Gardner and the Jackson-Dawson team won the national road racing title, tearing up the track at NASA’s Mid-Ohio championship race. Despite weather that shifted from downpour to dry throughout the qualifiers, Gardner scored third position for the final race. A rocketing start, some deft pick moves, and eyes on the prize put Dan’s Scion tC ahead of his main competition, two Mazda RX-8s and a big-horsepower Dodge SRT-4. It was an intense battle of wills, but Gardner crossed the finish line half a second ahead of the others to take the title. Congratulations Jackson-Dawson!
